New Zealand has built its reputation on its clean green image and spirit of adventure so Lin takes on the southern island with the same spirit and travels to some of the places that truly out this place on the map. However the places Lin chooses to travel all have one thing in common their environment comes first.
In a fully self-contained mobile camper Lin travels the south island with her five year old son. First stop is Oamaru home of the fairy penguins, then over to Dart River to jet boat the place that was the Lord of the Rings, north to New Zealands most travelled national park and finally into the small town of Kaikoura.
After 10 days of wild fun its five star all the way Limos, lavish meals and plenty of wine and cheese in Auckland as Lin investigates how the high end of town are managing their tourism footprint. She even takes the time out to check out if airport are playing their part toward our future.
