16 Musical Journeys Into Mother Nature's Bountiful Beauty

Yachatsanova is a musical journey into Mother Nature's bountiful beauty. Upbeat acoustic guitars and soothing piano music will transport you through the crashing waves, rushing storm clouds, blooming flowers, and colorful sunsets of the Oregon Coast. Each of the 16 musical videos highlights one special spot on the coast. Take a trip to the Hobbit Trail to see colorful mushrooms and lush undergrowth. The waves at the Devil's Churn are in continuous motion - stirring, crashing, and bursting free in a shower of liquid fireworks. Discover a deer grazing on the banks of the Alsea River as salmon head upstream to spawn. Meditate with a drowsy seagull on the Yachats beach. Watch a storm gather at Cape Perpetua - ominous, yet beautiful. Each of these journeys is accompanied by a different song - many of which were composed and performed by local musicians. Richard Sharpless plays his guitar with a passion - layering rhythms and notes to produce complex melodies that wind their way into your heart. Tony Kaltenberg pushes the boundaries of acoustic guitar, creating his own techniques and sounds that energize and inspire.
