Vienne was once a large Roman town, and later an important centre for the church. Each July, since 1977, the Roman amiptheatre situated high on a hill resounds to the sounds of what has become the biggest Jazz festival in France. That's a feature of this show.
On the outskirts of Vienne are two separate companies which work together to produce specialised fabrics and accessories for world famous fashion houses like Christian Dior, Yves St. Laurent, Hermes, Gerlain and Channel. We show the exquisite result of their endeavours.
This show features an ancient and highly unusual chicken recipe and a dessert Cornet D'Amour which features fruit and is unusual, delicious and easy to make. Near Vienne we found one or two exceptional artisans who work in stone.
Set in Paris and Provincial France against a scenic background, this series of shows features the preparation of a wide selection of traditional dishes and desserts prepared in their own kitchens personally by many of France's top three star Michelin Chefs: Pierre Troisgros, Paul Boucouse, George Blanc, Marc Menau, Andre Le Letty, Jean-Michel Lorain and other outstanding regional chefs.
