**Brief Nudity** Lake Balaton is Europe’s largest lake that is shallow and available for bathing. During the summer, the temperature of its water can reach 28-29 degrees, however, it is not only a paradise for swimmers, yachtsmen and surfers, but also for anglers. The Southern coast of the 77 kilometers long lake is encompassed by the Somogy Hills, while the Northern coast is circled by the vineyards situated on the previously volcanic hills, called the Balaton-Highlands, which reach until the Bakony Hills. The landscape amazes the visitor with its unique beauty and diversity. The past comes alive in castles and forts, temples, monastery ruins, mansions of noble families, old peasant houses, thatched roofed wine cellars, and old bridges and watermills. - Balatonvilágos
