In the landlocked country of Laos is a mountain range which conceals a network of caves.And it holds secrets of how the country won their 9 year long battle for freedom. The limestone caves of Viengxay in the remote North East, served as the headquarters of the Lao revolutionary army, the Pathet Lao. While nature carved out a labyrinth of caves, the Pathet Lao carved out “The Hidden City” which supported 20,000 people under siege.
