The Philippines new logo theme “It’s more fun in the Philippines” lives up to its name as we return to the Philippines and fly from Manila to the tenth largest island, Bohol, in the Philippine Sea, arriving at its capital, Tagbilaran City.
Our host is Philippine Fun Divers and the Lost Horizon Dive Resort located on Alona Beach, Tawala, Panglao Island Bohol Philippines. Panglao Island is connected by two bridges from the mainland.
This area is listed as one of the top ten best diving locations of the world for its pristine beaches, clear water, colorful coral and abundant rich marine life.
Topside we tour the famous Chocolate Hills, (as many as 1776) numerous mounds of limestone formations, travel through a Mahogany man-made forest, take a walk across the double hanging bridge, take a dinner cruise down the Loboc River and meet the Ati tribe who live there. Later we look for the elusive Philippine Tarsier considered the smallest primate in the world and indigenous to the island of Bohol.
